Involved in over 200 fire and explosion incident investigation projects worldwide. Most of these incident investigation projects involved chemical and petroleum releases with subsequent fire and explosion consequences,
OIL/GAS PRODUCTION AUTOMATION
Design of SCADA system for several large onshore/offshore gas production
systems, Saudi northern area, Abu Dhabi, North Sea, Lake Maracaibo, US
onshore and Gulf of Mexico, North Africa and Far East. Systems included
process control, safety systems, alarm management and fire control / emergency
systems.
LNG FIRE CONTROL SYSTEMS
Research and development through field-testing and commercialization of Dry Chemical and High Expansion Foam systems for LNG. Developed fire control delivery systems for many LNG / LPG plants worldwide.
CHEMICAL PROCESS SAFETY AUTOMATION
Compressor safety control (shutdown & fire control) systems for several pipeline and natural gas separation plants. Refinery automation projects for Phillips Petroleum. Development of a gas turbine condition monitoring system. Programmable logic controller based control systems for underground hydrocarbon storage
PROCESS SAFETY TRAINING
Graduate process safety course, continuing education courses, and development of specialized courses for various chemical and petroleum companies.
BUILDING SECURITY & FIRE SAFETY
Turnkey design and install computer control system for the 100+ buildings in the Tulsa Public school system. Similar system also supplied for the large Oklahoma Public school system, featuring remote boiler safety shutdown. Advanced remote control for all facilities at the Pantex Nuclear processing plant.
FIRE RESEARCH PROJECTS
Thermal radiation for tilted refinery flames, auto fabric flammibility,
cellular plastic insulation flammability.
